The Fitness Program
Ocean Jade promotes Dr Sabatino’s triangle of fitness: aerobic, strength and flexibility training. The base of the triangle is aerobic/endurance activity.
Every day will start bright and early with our optional morning aerobic walk along a path located adjacent to the pristine ocean within a few feet of the retreat. Beginning your day watching the sun rise, breathing clean fresh ocean air, with sand and surf just a few feet away is an exhilarating transformative experience.
The pool at Ocean Jade is ideal for swimming and water aerobic classes that will be offered daily only for our guests. The heated pool is being converted into a salt water pool to minimize chlorine exposure. Low impact strength/resistance training will be done in the pool as well as in a diverse array of studio classes.
There will also be a major focus on balance, lengthening and flexibility training with gentle stretching, pilates, yoga, tai-chi and qi gong classes.
